Get There Early. Of course, the cool crowd likes to arrive fashionably late. But when you get there early fewer people are there and it’s easier to start a conversation. When you get there late, attendees may already be in groups, which can make it tougher to jump in.
I have admired the Japanese culture’s affinity for beauty ever since I was a young girl. They bequeathed much to us. The first thing that comes to mind is Sushi, my favorite cuisine. And then I think of Kimonos, Kabuki Theater, Flower Arrangement, Calligraphy, Sumo wrestling, Bonsai, Anime, Tea Ceremony and Haiku. And the list goes on.
When preparing to shoot your company, video, one of the best tips we can give you is to remember Murphy’s Law and plan for chaos. The best-made plans sometimes go awry so be ready for extra takes, more interviews and B-Roll, etc.,
Create a Google account, and then request testimonials from your clients (if, indeed, you have worked together – otherwise, don’t) and then don’t just park them there, spread them around. Add these testimonials to your website, sprinkle liberally in your emails, and on your brochure. Don’t be shy about blowing your own horn.

Sometimes I’m fortunate enough to stumble across a great discussion regarding business or in particular, the field of broadcast production and multimedia. Good news, bad news: We have been working more on production and editing gigs, but I have less time for business blogging. It’s a real Catch 22 – I’ve got lots of fun stuff to blog about, but hardly any time to do it.
