South Africa Adventure
Our three-week journey in and around South Africa has not only brought us a new cache of amazing stock footage, but an understanding of life on the other side of our planet.

Wounded warriors are some of the most generous people out there. They have given their all for the freedoms we enjoy, by serving our nation’s military. A few years ago, the VA asked us to help them with their Wounded Warriors Summer Sports Clinic Video. We couldn’t have been more thrilled. It was both an honor and an education to videotape interviews of wounded warriors who participated in the San Diego Summer Sports Clinic.
The Great Mountain Biking Video produced in 1987 is now celebrating its 35th anniversary. So hard to believe that it’s been that many years since we buckled into our toeclips and rode up and down the local San Diego mountains to introduce the world to the sport of Mountain Biking.
What a gorgeous day in October 1993 it was when our small (three-person) video production crew arrived in the lovely town of Gangtok, Sikkim, India. My husband, Mark Schulze, and I had decided to participate in the First-ever Himalayan Run and Mountain Bike Trek, and to document it in our video, “Full Cycle: A World Odyssey.” So our friend, Mark Eveslage (aka “Marco”), decided to join us on this “endless summer on wheels” as Director of Photography.
